Life now in Lincoln

I guess i should update this thing now considering i actually have something different going on in my life.
I guess you could say that i have started a new chapter in my life.
Well, last Tuesday was my last official day at my house.  I moved out that night and came to Lincoln to my new home.  I got everything unloaded and then my roommate came home with some of his girl friends so i went and hung out with them at their house till 2 in the morning.  Then on Wednesday, I did some driving around lincoln to get acquainted with it somewhat.  This was followed by doing nothing pretty much the rest of the day.  Then school started Thursday.  I got everything situated over there finally so that is relieving.  I think i am really going to enjoy the program i am in.  I got to do some soldering of wires today.  I sucked at that at first but i am getting better, considering we only did 5 ends so i didn't get alot of practice.
The whole living on my own thing is sort of weird considering i haven't really done it before, so i have to get used to my meals not being made for me so i haven't been eating hardly anything lately.  I think i ate 2 meals on Wednesday.  Thursday, i ate one meal and that was lunch.  Today i have only eaten lunch and might not get to eat suppper.  I am going to waste away in college, unless i can find someone to cook for me.  I just consider it a hassel, i guess.  But i guess i will make time when i get hungry enough.
As for a job, i am still looking for one.  I might have found one though today on internet.  I was browsing for part time jobs and happened to notice an opening for a room service personel at the Cornhusker Hotel (
http://www.lincolnjobs.com/details.pl) (also check out the section about more about the place).  I think that would be a fun job, but who knows if i can get it with the way i look or whatnot but i will probably try for it when i get back from coming home this weekend.  I will enjoy my time down here in Lincoln much more once i get everything established like a job that works with my hours and i figure out how much work school is goign to take so i can get a good grade.
One of these weekends i am down here, i am really looking forward to going to one of the college groups in a church and getting involved in one of those and meeting some cool new ppl and maybe if i am lucky maybe some girls.

Another Title

I have located now where i will be living in lincoln.  It is a pretty nice house about 25 miles from Milford, so i am really happy about that.  I will be getting my own room and it is the biggest one in the house i think.  I am REALLY EXCITED about that.  The other 4 guys i will be living with seem pretty cool.  I think i will get along just fine there until the lease is up in August or the end of July.  Then, i am kicked out onto the street with no where to live.  Hopefully, i will be able to find another roommate when that time approaches.
Well about a little over 2 weeks and i will be moving my stuff down to lincoln.
This past sat. i went to Milford orientation which was about 7 hours of worthless time spent there.  And all i needed to do was register for classes.  And i could have done that at home.  After that though, i saw the house and ppl i was going to be living with.  This also lasted longer than i wanted to cuz my mom was with me and she kept asking question after question after question.  So it took an hour and half to fully view the house and get everything done and i bet it would have been longer had the guys not had to be somewhere at 7:30.
Friday night and sat. night i played halo.  I am probably playing too much halo.  I think i should regulate my time to about 2 hours max.  However, the guys i am living with have DSL with a router, so things might not change once Halo 3 comes out, but i will be disciplined, I WILL.
Sunday i slept the day away thanks to lack of sleep on the other 2 previous nights.  I was really disappointed too cuz it was perfect outside for riding my bike and is slept instead.  I also wanted to practice my guitar, but that also didn't happen, but i did watch Underworld again that night and not by myself, and that was fun.
Oh, and this friday i am singing in the choir thing at NC.  That should be ok i guess.  And that is what i had to resort too thanks to no ski trip this year.  That is sad.

Now i am off to see the Wizard.

Title

Life has been good lately.
Lets see, i don't post here very often anymore so i will have to see where i left off.  Well 2 weeks ago, i believe, i hung out with matt the whole weekend.  That was a very eventful and fun weekend.  We went shopping in GI and matt spent a buttload of money on things.  He introduced me to my new favorite store, "TJ Max".  I had no idea what was in there, until we went shopping in there and now i think i will buy all my clothes in there anymore.  I did get a really sweet pair of jeans in there, and that made me happy.
The next weekend, i kicked at my house, but i hung out with Dani on Saturday.  Then on Sunday, i went to a company dinner.  Everytime i say that i feel important, like i am actually at a job that is worth something.
Then this week we had to work our butts off in order to get Friday after Thanksgiving off. So i ended up working like 10 hour days for 3 days to get everything accomplished.  Oh, well it was worth it.
Thanksgiving, i guess, was a lot of fun.  Got to do a lot of sleeping in, which i covet most dearly on breaks.  And then i got to sleep whenever i felt like it after eating an ungodly amount of food.  Got to do the whole after Thanksgiving day sales thing, but that was done after sleeping in till 9:30.  I didn't need to go early cuz i had no money and no way to get money so i was just looking the entire time at would i could have gotten.  The only thing i wanted was a TV.  My purchases are now only going to be large ones cuz nothing is cheap anymore for electronics.
Well, in about a month i will be finally moving out of my house after almost 21 years there.  I am pretty excited.  I am still in a dillema on who i am going to move in with, cuz matt patrick who was going to live in the dorm has now decided he will live in an apt. with Alex and he wanted to know if i would live with them.  I wanted to live with matt originally but i also had a plan to live with Gershom's friends cuz they need someone to take the place of someone moving out.  So i neeed to figure this out quick cuz if i go with matt, which i will probably do i need to let ther other ppl know to find someone else.

I am going to miss all you NCers!!!!!!!!!!!

What's been happening

For starters, we will go back in time to the 31st of Oct.
That night i helped out with CHAOS/CORN.  At 10 in the morning, i went to Scott's house and we got all the equipment needed for the games at CHAOS, and we went to Cairo.  We set everything up and it was only like 3 so i played Guitar Hero with Jon for 2 and half hours till we began to get ready for the outreach.  And then about half way through Scott came and gave the gospel message using the 10 commandments to about 300 kids.  And when he asked how many ppl wanted to receive Christ.  It was amazing.  There were about 148 kids that received Christ that night.  It was well worth giving up getting candy and whatnot to be a part of that.

On to the Harvest Festival.  Well, it was rather fun, i guess.  I got to hang out with Emily, which made the 3 worthless hours of bordom go by much more enjoyably.  Following that, considering i didn't have to work the next day, i went over to bill's and played Halo till about 2 in the morning.  Then i found out i had to wake up early the next mornign and help around the house, but i got out of that.  But in the afternoon, i went to the Stone's and helped them pack up to move.  Got home at about 6 in the evening and watched 2 movies by myself, Nacho Libre and Ong Bak.
Now this week.  Yesterday i put in a 14 hour day of pretty much straight bagging so i am tired.  Also, on Wednesday i saw one of the best movies ever.  It was an action one called "The Protector".  It was in Japanese but had English subtitles but i would highly recommend it to anyone.
I have decided to make a group that is going to be against watching movies by ourselves.  ANY TAKERS?

Now here is a song that really caught my attention on the radio, and it really explains my relationship life.

Vertical Horizon - Everything you want

Somewhere there's speaking
It's already coming in
Oh and it's rising at the back of your mind
You never could get it
Unless you were fed it
Now you're here and you don't know why

But under skinned knees and the skid marks
Past the places where you used to learn
You howl and listen
Listen and wait for the
Echoes of angels who won't return

[Chorus]
He's everything you want
He's everything you need
He's everything inside of you
That you wish you could be
He says all the right things
At exactly the right time
But he means nothing to you
And you don't know why

You're waiting for someone
To put you together
You're waiting for someone to push you away
There's always another wound to discover
There's always something more you wish he'd say

[Chorus]

But you'll just sit tight
And watch it unwind
It's only what you're asking for
And you'll be just fine
With all of your time
It's only what you're waiting for

Out of the island
Into the highway
Past the places where you might have turned
You never did notice
But you still hide away
The anger of angels who won't return

[Chorus]
I am everything you want
I am everything you need
I am everything inside of you
That you wish you could be
I say all the right things
At exactly the right time
But I mean nothing to you and I don't know why
And I don't know why
Why
I don't know

Define the Great Line

Well, i haven't updated in a while, basically cuz i don't have a life worth saying anything about.
And i am sure that no one wants to read the same thing about my week day after day.
So i refrain from writing.
But now i have been told to update so here is what has happened since i last posted which was probably like 3 weeks ago.
Um.........................................................
I helped out with an outreach in Henderson last weekend.  It was really exciting cuz 2 guys gave their testimonies at the outreach and Scott did some talking and there were 23 ppl saved that night.  And considering this was the first time that Henderson had ever allowed an outreach to be done in their town.  It was pretty exciting that we got to do it.  This past weekend i hung out with Danica some, played Halo Live, went to Kenesaw and played more Halo Live, came back to Bill's and played more Halo Live.
I relived an hour in my life.  That was pretty amazing.
I rode my bike in the most beautiful of days.
I have decided, thanks to reading some of matt's post about learning things outside of school, that i should learn more about the guitar.  I have all this time after work everyday, i have decided to put it too good use by learning how to play the guitar better.  Hopefully, with all the time i have before heading off to college, i will be a decent player of the guitar.
Well, there is another outreach in Cario on the 31st of Oct. (aka CHAOS), so i will be helping with that tomorrow.  I am really looking forward to it.  I think that is pretty much all i got, and it summed up my whole 3 weeks since last post.
